Update: The College has changed the procedures for 'Writing Up' status. In the new procedures, PhD students may apply to register as Completing Research Status (CRS) students for a maximum period of 12 months upon payment of a CRS registration fee of £200.00. The minimum period of registration, all experimental and programming work, and a formal CRS milestone must be completed. See Completing Research Status - Writing-Up www.

Update: Department policy is that paid employment during full-time PhD studies may not exceed 6 hours per week on average.
